The curriculum is interspersed with seminars, industrial tours and industry oriented projects providing ample opportunity to interact with industry professionals. Emphasis is on practical aspects of management education whereby the students are given ample opportunities to interact with industry professionals. Session starts from July-August every year of which there will be a two month summer training in an organization after their second semester.

The course consists of four semesters with 8 subjects in each semester. MBA degree provides students an option to choose one major filed and one minor field of specialization from Marketing, Finance, HRM, International Business and Information Technology. MBA+BASE(Business Aptitude & Skill Enhancement programme): In pursuance of DBS-Group philosophy to generate industry-ready professionals who are productive from day first of joining corporate, various value-added certifications have been included in addition to the regular MBA programme of UTU.

Some of the value added certifications included are SAP, NCFM, Six Sigma, French, etc from the respective certifying authorities. The students have the option to opt for any or all of the above certifications. Students who have either completed their graduation or awaiting final year results are eligible to apply. Admission to MBA programme is on the basis of merit of CAT/MAT scores followed by GD/PI
